BEHIND THE LENS

I got my first SLR film camera when I was ten years old and I've been shooting film ever since. Winning competitions for my photography, lead to an interest in more subjects, and grew to taking portraits. While I still consider the majority of my work to be the fine art photography I take of the Southern landscape, now having expanded from family and friends to friends of friends. I've grown a reputation for taking natural, beautiful looking pictures of people.

If you're reading this, then someone told you about me and you're interested in booking a session here - please ready below for my info:

THE SESSION

I have 22 different cameras (both film and digital: from my grandfather's 100 year old Voigtlander Bessa to the first camera I got when I was 10 years old, a Vivitar SLR) I use the camera that suits the situation and subject. I mainly like to work with my medium format film cameras for portraits and digital for events (with select candids and portraits in film). However, as goes the territory with film, there are less images and no way to know for sure how they turned out until developed... so rest assured I supplement all photo shoots with digital. ** That being said, all images featured on this site are scans of film negatives. **

Sessions usually run about an hour and a half long. Please contact me for more info and pricing; this is a passion project side job for me, so I will try to make something work.
